Hello, I’m Agnes

A visual designer drawn to creating clean, thoughtful visuals.

Brian Collins said it best: “Design is hope made visible”

That, to me, is the essence of being a designer: not merely arranging forms and colours, but turning ideas into something people can see, feel and believe in.

The true impact lies not just in what we create, but in the footprint our work leaves behind.

About me

I’m a Hungary-based designer specialising in visual identity, editorial and motion design, with a minimalist approach and a focus on clear, meaningful storytelling.

I currently work with clients across a range of fields, including culture, music, sustainability, education and software development, mainly in Hungary, the UK and the US. That variety is one of the things I value most—it keeps my work sharp, engaged and constantly evolving.

Curiosity, lifelong learning and cross-cultural exchange are a big part of how I work. My background includes studying editorial design in Porto, print and poster design in Berlin, and creative thinking in London. I’m currently expanding my animation practice through the US-based School of Motion.

Alongside digital work, I also enjoy getting my hands dirty with analogue techniques like linocut and etching.

Some of my favourites

Here’s a small selection of projects I’ve particularly enjoyed working on. Each one comes from a slightly different context, but they all reflect how I approach design in practice. I’m drawn to clarity, structure and details that quietly hold everything together.

Some projects were about solving complex problems, others about finding the right tone or visual rhythm. Together, they give a pretty honest snapshot of how I think, work and make decisions as a designer.

Fun facts

Carreer change

I originally graduated as a civil engineer and spent more than ten years working in the construction industry in Hungary and the UK (yes — I’m definitely not in my twenties anymore). Design started as a side project and slowly took over. For a long time I wished I’d gone into it from day one, but I’ve realised my engineering background is actually a huge bonus — it explains my love of structure, clarity and neatly organised layouts.

Study fanatic

Over the last few years I’ve taken design courses at the University of the Arts London, Universität der Künste Berlin and Porto Design Summer School. Apart from learning a lot, these experiences were a great excuse to meet designers from all over the world and keep pushing myself creatively.

A little bit of dirt

I’ve also had the chance to work with the non-profit organisation All Hands and Hearts on school construction projects in rural Nepal, Mexico and Turkey. Proper hands-on work, lots of dust, and very real teamwork.

Travel lover

I mean… who isn’t? I’ve been lucky enough to spend adventurous months in Asia and Latin America, lived for a while in my forever-favourite Guatemala, and completely fell for it. I’m endlessly curious about new cultures, local connections and different ways of thinking — and yes, I’ll happily hike up a snowy mountain if that’s part of the deal.
